The world of Japanese alternative and underground cinema has long been a subject of fascination for global film enthusiasts. Among the most controversial and discussed niches within this subculture is the legacy of "Bakky" (often associated with Bakky Visual Planning), a studio that became notorious in the late 1990s and 2000s for pushing the absolute limits of extreme, unscripted, and boundary-breaking home-video content.

The Bakky incident stands as the worst criminal event in the history of the adult video industry in Japan. It is considered one of the most shocking incidents in the country's recent history, often ranked among the top three most appalling crimes. The case sent shockwaves through Japanese society and the adult film industry alike, which had previously been largely unregulated. The sheer scale of the crimes—involving at least ten victims—and the brutality of the acts forced a long-overdue conversation about performer consent, safety, and the need for legal protections.

: The studio marketed its films as consensual BDSM or extreme fetish content. Investigations later proved that the performers' explicit pleas to stop were ignored, and the acts committed against them were genuinely non-consensual crimes.

Following the decline of the original studio, several independent directors and smaller labels emerged to fill the void. These contemporary creators adopt the same hyper-realistic, documentary-style cinematography, and raw presentation, but operate within modern regulatory frameworks.

Founded in 2002 as an independent studio, Bakky Visual Planning produced approximately 17 films. These movies were characterized by: Extreme Violence
