You can access this hidden location using two quick methods. Method 1: Using the Run Command Press the on your keyboard. Type C:\ProgramData\3uTools\Firmware into the box. Press Enter or click OK . Method 2: Unhiding Folders in File Explorer Open File Explorer (Windows Explorer). Click on the View tab at the top menu. Check the box next to Hidden items .

If 3uTools throws a "corrupt firmware" error during the flashing process, the .ipsw download may have been interrupted. Delete the faulty file from your C:\Program Files (x86)\3uTools\firmware directory and download it cleanly again.

Note: If you cannot see the Documents folder, ensure "Hidden items" is checked in the "View" tab of File Explorer.

Navigate to the section by clicking the arrow icon in the top right corner of the interface. Go to the Completed or Firmware tab.

: You can safely delete old IPSW files from the firmware folder after a successful flash to reclaim gigabytes of disk space.

If you prefer to keep your IPSW files in a custom location, you can simply download them manually (e.g., from 3u.com/firmwares or IPSW.me ) and store them anywhere you like. Then, when flashing in 3uTools:

: Provides a "Verification Report" that checks if hardware components (like the battery or screen) are original or have been replaced.

: If you download a firmware file from an external site, you can move it into this folder or use the "Import" button in the "Flash & JB" section to select it manually for a restore.

Make it a habit to visit your 3uTools firmware location periodically and delete old files to keep your PC running lean and fast.
